Students go through the process of reaching and refining their hypotheses as they consider new evidence, ultimately working out that Temperance Lloyd was accused of the crime of ‘witchcraft’ and sent to hang!
The enquiry shifts focus halfway through, as students begin to consider why women like Temperance were accused of witchcraft in this period.
Finally, students re-write a commemorative plaque for Temperance, outlining in more detail why she and other women were executed in the 17th century.
