This lesson forms part of a series on the events surrounding Soviet involvement in Cuba.
It is expected that by this point students will have studied the events of the Bay of Pigs invasion as well as having completed the decision making activity on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The aim of this lesson is to consider how the crisis was peacefully resolved.
At the end, students will be given the opportunity to write for different audiences and also consider the longer term consequences of the crisis.
