This unit centres around the question: ‘Was there really a ‘golden age’ in  Medieval Africa’?

Importantly you are provided with two different types of assessment. One which assesses substantive knowledge and the other focuses on disciplinary knowledge. All of this helps you to work out how well your students grasped the Medieval African history unit.
