This lesson allows students to investigate the events of the Cuban Missiles Crisis by using a decision making activity. Working in teams of three, students examine the problems facing President Kennedy during the 1962 crisis.
They are required to reach supported conclusions based upon a real appreciation of the international situation at the time.
It can be used equally for Year 9 students or as an introduction to the topic for Modern World GCSE students studying the Cold War.
