Teaching Issues

Games the history classroom: The wall of misconception

Games in the history classroom: The wall of misconception.

This is a great idea to use as a mini plenary to check learning in a fun and active way. The class needs to be armed with knowledge for this activity to work.  You may have taught them does Richard the Lionheart deserve to be remembered as a great Monarch? Or in fact any other lesson!

When you think your students are ready to show off their new found knowledge, grab some empty boxes from the photocopier room or use some plastic boxes. You know the ones, the boxes you use to carry all of those sets of books home. The one’s you intend to mark, but leave in your car boot until Monday, then rush to mark them before the start of class.
