Design a tea cosy dedicated to our national drink

TeacosyWhat would you include in a design for a tea cosy entitled our ‘national drink’?

This imaginative summative task helps your students get creative and into higher level thinking. What four events would they include in a tea cosy design to tell the story of our national drink?

By recapping all of the inter-related yet stand-alone enquiries centred on tea, your class will see hidden history of our national drink. But can they decide what four images they would include on a modern day tea cosy to best explain this history?

They use their prior knowledge to make their choice, and then annotate each image to explain why they have included it in their design.

Note: you need to have taught a number of enquiries related to tea for this end task to work. Read the tea article for more guidance.
